What FrontDesk does

Answers 24/7

Answers your calls day and night — nights, weekends, lunch rushes — so leads don't fall into the voicemail black hole.

Books on the call

Connect your Google or Outlook calendar. It checks your live availability and books the appointment while the caller's still on the phone — then emails you the details.

Knows your business

Drag in your FAQ, hours, services, and prices — or import your website. It answers only from the info you approve, and takes a message when it isn't sure instead of guessing.

Keep your number

No porting, no new number to advertise. Forward your existing line — all calls, or just the ones you miss.

What a missed call costs

The phone is still where local work comes from — and it's the thing an owner on a job can't pick up.

Built for businesses that live on the phone

Live in three steps

No hardware, no phone system to replace, no technical setup.

1

Tell it about your business

Name, hours, greeting, and your FAQ — drag and drop. Takes a couple of minutes.

2

Forward the calls you miss

Point your line at FrontDesk for the calls you don't pick up — or every call, once you've heard it work.

3

Go live

Call it, hear it work, and start capturing the leads that were going to voicemail. Change anything anytime.

You decide how much it answers

Two ways to point your line at FrontDesk. Both are settings on your own phone service, so you can switch between them — or turn it off entirely — without asking us.

Most owners start here

Only the calls you miss

Your phone rings first, the way it does now. FrontDesk picks up when you don't — nights, weekends, and the calls that ring out while you're on a job. The only calls it touches are the ones that were going to voicemail anyway.

When you'd rather not carry the phone

Every call

FrontDesk answers first, every time — books onto your calendar, answers from your approved info, and emails you what happened. Move up to this once you've read a few transcripts and trust it.

Or we'll set it up with you

Book 20 minutes and we'll build your receptionist on the call — your services and prices, your greeting, your calendar connected, forwarding configured. Then you call it yourself and hear it before any customer does. Free, and you don't need an account.

Simple, predictable pricing

14-day free trial, then your plan renews automatically — cancel anytime. Keep your number. Minutes are counted only while FrontDesk is on a call, so answering just your missed calls uses very few of them.

Common questions

Do I have to change my phone number?

No. You keep the number you already advertise — forward your existing line to FrontDesk, either every call or only the ones you don't pick up. Turn it off anytime from your phone settings.

Can I start with just the calls I miss?

Yes, and most owners should. Set your line to forward only when you don't answer, and FrontDesk picks up the nights, weekends, and rings-out that were already going to voicemail — nothing about how you work today changes. Once you've read a few call transcripts, you can switch to answering every call, or switch back. Both are settings on your own phone service.

What happens when it doesn't know an answer?

It says so and takes a message. FrontDesk answers only from the business information you approve — your hours, services, prices, and FAQ — and never invents policies or pricing. The call lands in your dashboard with a summary and the full transcript.

Can it actually book appointments, or just take messages?

It books. Connect your Google or Outlook calendar and it checks your live availability and locks in the slot while the caller is still on the phone, then emails the caller a confirmation with a calendar invite if they ask for one.

What does it sound like?

A natural, conversational voice with your greeting and your business's tone — not a phone tree. Call your own line after setup and hear it before your customers do.

How long does setup take?

About five minutes: tell it about your business (or import your website), forward your number, and make a test call. No hardware and nothing to install. If you'd rather not do it yourself, book a setup call and we'll build it with you in 20 minutes.

What does it cost?

Starter is $49/month with 250 call minutes included; Pro is $99/month with 750 minutes. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial — you add a card when your receptionist goes live, you're not charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime.
