Built for electricians

An AI receptionist for electricians

Half the calls an electrician gets are someone standing in a dark kitchen who has already flipped the breaker twice. They are not shopping, they are frightened, and they will keep dialling until somebody picks up and sounds like they know what a consumer unit is.

Don't take our word for it. Paste your website and talk to a receptionist briefed on your business — no account, about a minute.

The call that gets missed

You're on a ladder with the covers off a board and the phone is in the van, three rooms away.

FrontDesk answers that call in about two rings, at any hour, from the information you approved — your services, your hours, your prices. You keep your number and forward it when you want us picking up, starting with only the calls you miss.

What your callers actually ask

It answers these from your business's own information — not from anything it assumed about electricians.

  • Half my house has no power — can someone come out today?
  • Do you do EV charger installs?
  • Are you certified to sign off the work?
  • What's your minimum call-out?
  • Can you look at a fuse box that keeps tripping?

And what it refuses to guess

It never diagnoses a fault down the phone and never talks anyone through touching a board. If a caller mentions burning smells, scorch marks, or sparks, it stops selling, tells them to cut the power at the main switch and call the emergency line, and flags the message to you immediately.

When it doesn't know, it says so and takes a message, which lands in your dashboard with a summary and the full transcript. The questions it couldn't answer are collected too, so the gaps in what it knows are a list you can fix rather than something you find out about from a customer.

Questions

Will it try to troubleshoot with the customer?
No. It asks what's happening and where, enough to tell an emergency from a quote request, then books or takes a message. It is explicitly instructed never to walk anyone through opening a panel.
Can it tell a real emergency from a light switch?
It doesn't judge the electrics — it listens for the words that matter. Burning, sparking, water near a board, no power at all: those get marked urgent and pushed to the top of what you see. A dead socket in a spare room does not.
Does it know what work I'm certified for?
It answers from the services you gave it. Work you don't take on, it says so and takes a message rather than booking a job you'd have to hand back.
